Lead System Engineer - Microsoft Azure

We are looking for a seasoned Lead System Engineer with specialization in Microsoft Azure to become part of our energetic team.
As a crucial technical leader, your role is to spearhead the design, implementation, and enhancement of cloud solutions, with a focus on fault tolerance, high availability, scalability, and security. You'll need practical experience in Azure infrastructure, DevOps methodologies, and automation, paired with an enthusiasm for innovation and ongoing enhancement.

• Spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure infrastructure to achieve fault tolerance, high availability, scalability, and security
• Create and oversee CI/CD pipelines that include automated build and test systems
• Manage production deployments using multiple deployment strategies
• Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate Azure infrastructure and platform deployments
• Utilize configuration management tools to automate system configurations
• Apply microservices architecture concepts and best practices
• Collaborate with application development teams to synchronize requirements, schedules, and activities
• Execute proofs of concept (POCs) to test the practicality of proposed designs and technologies
• Identify and solve system issues, proactively dealing with challenges with an ongoing improvement perspective
• Quickly absorb and adapt to new services and technologies present in the environment

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Azure Cloud environments
• Proficiency in DevOps CI/CD tools and methodologies
• Solid background in Linux and Windows Administration
• Expertise in scripting languages including Python, Bash, Shell, and Unix scripting
• Understanding of YAML scripting and ARM templates
• Proficiency in Terraform modules for infrastructure automation
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and best practices
• Background in automating infrastructure and platform deployments using IaC tools
• Demonstrated capability to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Azure
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
• B2+ English proficiency level
