Responsibilities
- Define performance test and analysis strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional team efforts to enhance performance testing
- Implement automated performance tests within CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Examine performance data to pinpoint areas for improvement
- Partner with development teams to refine application code and infrastructure setups
- Conduct API performance testing at scale while managing capacity planning
- Execute spike load testing to evaluate system resilience
- Utilize client-side performance assessment tools such as Catchpoint or Lighthouse
- Apply observability expertise with metrics, events, logs, and traces
- Track application performance through tools like New Relic across diverse platforms
- Address immediate requests while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Maintain awareness of technological developments in Azure Cloud, AKS, Java, and Spring Boot
- 5+ years of experience in performance testing
- 1+ years of experience in relevant leadership roles
- Proficiency in performance testing tools and methodologies like Cloudtest or JMeter
- Competency in continuous delivery and continuous integration practices
- Qualifications in Microsoft Azure and associated technologies
- Knowledge of API performance testing and capacity management
- Familiarity with observability metrics and client-side performance analysis
- English communication skills at a B2+ level
- Certification related to performance testing methodologies
- Background in mobile application performance analysis
- Competency in MongoDB and Cassandra
- Skills in serverless technologies within Azure environments
- Capability to address performance issues tied to network metrics
