EPAM Canada is looking for a Lead People Advisory Specialist in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Reporting to the Head of People for Canada, the Lead People Advisory Specialist is responsible for providing a broad range of front-line human resource services to the managers and employees within the Kitchener office. With a requirement to be in the Kitchener office for 3-4 days/week, this is a great opportunity for an individual looking to take their base HR knowledge and experience to the next level in a fast-paced global company.

Responsibilities
- Involvement in the full employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding, with opportunities to lead initiatives
- Consulting, providing coaching, guidance, and resources to employees and managers on career development, performance management, and employee relations in line with programs, policies, and local legislation
- HR knowledge of Canada and provincial legislation to help develop and implement policy changes as well as advise managers and employees
- Business acumen, with the proven ability to understand business needs and translate them into people programs, policies, and initiatives that support the employee experience while driving results
- Solution-oriented mindset, proactively reviewing and analyzing people data and metrics to identify trends and recommend innovative solutions for improving the employee experience
- Global mindset, representing Canada and participating in global programs in areas like career development, performance management, learning, and wellness
- Team player, working closely with the People Operations Team to ensure benefits, leaves of absence, employee communication, and compliance are managed
- A minimum of three years of general HR experience in a fast-paced, innovative workplace
- Education in Human Resources or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of Canada and provincial employment legislation and regulations
- Outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. The ability to prioritize competing demands
- Self-managing, self-starter with a client-centric service approach
- Experience in a coaching role and supporting teams to create an atmosphere of trust
- Working toward a Human Resources Professional designation would be an asset
- Preferred experience in a global organization
