We are seeking a Lead Node.js Developer who will be instrumental in enhancing our codebase, surmounting various challenges, and developing new features using Node.js. As a key member of our team, this leadership role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of our Node.js applications, from inception to deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of Node.js applications from conception to deployment, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines
  • Actively contribute to writing and reviewing code
  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and innovative back-end services and systems
  • Work closely with other team leaders, product managers, and stakeholders to align project objectives and ensure effective communication across teams

  • 3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js and Nest.js
  • 5+ years of commercial experience in web development
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ECMAScript 6 standards
  • Commercial experience of working with high loaded SQL or NO SQL databases
  • Proficiency in implementing REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets
  • Understanding of TDD principles with experience in writing robust tests
  • Understanding of microservice architecture principles
  • Skills in using Git version control system
  • Experience with RabbitMQ and Redis
  • Expertise in MongoDB and MySQL databases
  • At least Intermediate level of English proficiency
Nice to have
  • 2+ years of experience developing with CI/CD, Microservices architecture, and Containers
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of NATS
  • Skills in TypeScript
