Lead Node.js Developer

We are looking for a Lead Node.js Developer to be involved in a Responsive Web project. The position includes developing a new front-end layer of the customer website, an Isomorphic JavaScript application with a front-end layer (SPA, React), and a BE layer (Node.js), AWS.

Our customer is a world-class luxury brand with its head office located in London and 200+ EPAM employees working on its projects, including .com-related streams, such as CRM, PIM, DevOps, Support, integration, BigData, etc.
This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

  • Align, improve processes and approaches across all platforms, and communicate updates to the teams and other streams. Review solutions
  • Implement API services on AWS (Code, test, debug web applications)
  • Improve CI/CD(GitLab, CloudFormation)
  • Prepare appropriate documentation such as program code, and technical documents
  • Investigate errors
  • Fix Bugs
  • Communicate with the customer (requirements or issues details clarification)
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in JavaScript development, with expertise in Node.js (8.10), Express, and related frameworks
  • Proven track record in leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • Solid understanding of AWS services, including CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, and various databases such as Datastax (Cassandra) and UserGrid
  • Proficiency in using ELK stack for log management and analysis
  • Experience with GitLab CI and other continuous integration tools
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement complex software solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
