Lead Manual Tester

We are looking for an experienced Lead Manual Tester to join our team and take ownership of the quality assurance process. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the QA team, developing test strategies, ensuring test coverage, and coordinating testing efforts across distributed teams. You will play a key role in managing testing activities, providing feedback, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adjust the Test Plan and Test Strategy based on project requirements
• Coordinate the QA team, including planning, estimation, organizing, task prioritization, and performance control
• Manage change processes by updating workflows according to project needs and handling improvements and risk management
• Create and update Jira dashboards, collect QA statistics, and perform status reporting
• Oversee automation progress within the pod
• Provide Sprint sign-off and support for production releases
• Offer feedback and mentorship to team members
• Participate in grooming, planning, retrospectives, daily standups, and direct communication with customers and development managers
• Represent the offshore team in discussions with the on-site team, resolving issues and clarifying questions
• Conduct functional testing of an e-commerce application across desktop, mobile web (iOS and Android), native apps (iOS and Android), and backend systems
• Perform web analytics testing using Charles Proxy and Adobe Analytics
• Review and analyze product requirements for clarity and consistency
• Write and verify defects

• 5+ years of QA experience
• 2+ years of experience leading QA teams (5-8 engineers)
• Hands-on experience in mobile testing and API/Web services testing
• Ability to define and improve testing strategies
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• English level B2+
• Reliability and self-dependence
• Ability to handle stress in challenging project environments with tight deadlines and evolving requirements

• Experience with the BDD test approach and Gherkin language
• Background in the e-commerce domain
