We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead JavaScript Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will lead the development of cutting-edge web applications and ensure seamless user experiences by leveraging your deep expertise in front-end technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize high-performance solutions that meet our business objectives.
This position requires 2 days working from the client's office in Gdynia.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and architecture of front-end solutions using modern frameworks and technologies
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to create seamless and responsive web applications
  • Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards
  • Mentor and guide junior developers in their technical growth and development
  • Drive innovation and stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and trends

  • 8+ years experience in Software Development
  • Strong knowledge of JS Core, expertise in ES6
  • Proficiency in React.js and Angular 6+ frameworks, and TypeScript
  • Expert level knowledge of HTML5 and CSS/LESS/SASS
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js and understanding of BfF approach
  • Experience in front-end unit and integration testing (e.g. Jest / Karma / Mocha / Cypress)
  • Experience with front-end development tools and technologies (e.g. Responsive Web design, NPM, Git, REST)
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience in an Agile work environment
  • Able to work under pressure
Nice to have
  • Experience with Azure and Amazon Web Services platforms
  • Experience with Web Sockets, HTTP/2.0
  • Basic knowledge of API management (Swagger, OpenAPI)
