Responsibilities

  • Understands and practices agile software development and management
  • Lead technical discussions and drive effective technical decisions (with input from other engineers) covering their area of responsibility; collaborate with engineers to define and review the architecture; help engineers solve technical challenges, eliminate dependencies, etc
  • Excels at getting the team to focus on the highest-impact projects
  • Partners effectively with the product to manage scope and deliverables for the technical side of the product roadmap
  • Understand product requirements and translate those into technical details
  • Ensure smooth and timely delivery of the project

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 8+ years of software development experience, a GitHub development portfolio warranting waving this requirement, or the ability to complete coding challenges prior to the interview
  • Solid experience and knowledge of JavaScript, ReactJS and TypeScript
  • Proven understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including web development, service-oriented architecture, cloud computing, test-driven development, and domain-driven design
  • Experience with cloud technologies using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle Cloud or Google Cloud Projects (GCP) is a plus
  • High emotional intelligence to understand, empathize, and respond to team members' needs and concerns
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective solutions
  • Experience creating a collaborative and enjoyable team environment
