We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead JavaScript Developer specializing in React to join our dynamic team.
This role involves working across the product and various teams, requiring a lead level with a strong track record. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in migrating our existing application progressively, which demands technical planning and strategic execution.

Responsibilities

  • Migrate the existing application progressively with a focus on technical planning and strategy
  • Work with large SPA to optimize CIDC compilation and runtime performance targets
  • Transition legacy codebase to new standards
  • Contribute to testing automation and enhancement of test frameworks such as Playwright
  • Collaborate with teams to drive rich front-end experiences in scalable, multi-tenant environments
  • Modify and critique existing designs while maintaining an eye for visuals
  • Interact with RESTful APIs and integrate SCSS effectively
  • Implement and conduct A/B tests using tools like Google Optimize, Optimizely, or VWO
  • Develop responsive designs and manage mobile notifications
  • Work with offline caching strategies in the context of PWAs
  • Drive technical leadership and provide guidance across various teams

  • 4+ years of experience holding a Senior Engineering title
  • 2+ years of experience in environments that drive rich front-end experiences
  • Proficiency in JavaScript language and React + Redux framework
  • Competency in SCSS and familiarity with interacting with RESTful APIs
  • Background in working with large SPA and knowledge of CIDC compilation optimizations
  • Experience in testing automation with tools like Playwright
  • Background in transitioning legacy codebase to new standards
  • Experience with PWAs and offline/caching strategies
  • Skills in ReactJS and Redux are critical
  • Proficiency in A/B testing tools such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, or VWO
  • Strong capabilities in responsive design and mobile notifications
Nice to have
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Understanding of REST API
  • Familiarity with Stripe
  • Basic knowledge of testing automation
