Our team is actively seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to enhance our e-commerce fulfillment operations.
The role is centered around crafting microservices in Java 8 within a Kubernetes-configured Azure setting, aiming to improve e-commerce order management systems. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in Java microservices infrastructure, expertise in cloud platforms, and a comprehensive understanding of workflows related to e-commerce order processing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and construct scalable microservices in Java 8
  • Create robust e-commerce order fulfillment systems
  • Elevate PostgreSQL database performance for extensive order processing
  • Formulate effective caching strategies with Redis
  • Build event-driven mechanisms using Kafka for updates on order status
  • Develop cloud-native applications utilizing Azure services
  • Work with cross-functional teams and engage in code reviews

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • Proficiency in RESTful API development
  • Qualifications in PostgreSQL, including query optimization and indexing
  • Competency in caching and session management with Redis
  • Background in Microsoft Azure cloud services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Cache for Redis
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and serverless frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce order processing workflows
  • Background in designing microservices for order control systems
  • Experience with inventory management, payment gateway integration, and transaction handling
  • Fluency in the English language at B2 level or better
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Apache Kafka for distributed event streaming
  • Background in Agile (Scrum) methodologies
  • Capability to devise efficient database architectures
  • Strong understanding of the architecture of microservices and its associated challenges
