We are looking for a Lead Java Developer to join our cross-functional scrum team within a business capability POD.
The chosen candidate will offer strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework, contributing significantly to the development of backend solutions that improve our business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Java codebase
  • Construct back-end micro-services and REST APIs
  • Execute comprehensive unit testing to ensure robust software performance
  • Maintain high code quality through regular code reviews
  • Promote and adhere to best practices such as code review, unit testing, and continuous integration
  • Actively engage in SCRUM ceremonies to enhance team collaboration
  • Actively participate in estimation and planning sessions to align with project objectives
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other developers
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred
  • At least 5 years of development experience
  • Over 1 year of relevant leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
  • Competency in constructing APIs and understanding microservices architecture
  • Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management, which is preferred but not essential
  • Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)

  • Understanding of industry standards in financial services
