We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Java-based applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our Win32/64 applications and drive our migration to Oracle Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of Java-based components and services
• Analyze and improve the performance of existing Java applications
• Design and implement scalable solutions using Java, Scala, and Spark
• Collaborate with team members to integrate Java applications with JavaScript/React UI components
• Oversee the migration of on-premise applications to Oracle Cloud
• Develop and maintain REST services and back-end databases
• Work with big data technologies to manage and process large datasets
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding and architecture
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
• Participate in code reviews and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project timelines and deliverables

• Proficiency in Java with 5+ years of experience in Java development
• 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Skills in Scala and Spark
• Expertise in developing REST services
• Proficiency in big data technologies and SQL
• Knowledge of JavaScript/React for integrating with Java applications
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails
• Understanding of Oracle, especially in implementing backend databases
• Capability to work with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Background in migrating applications to cloud environments
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

• Experience with Oracle Cloud
• Familiarity with the Oracle Database Platform
