We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to guide our development team.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong command of Java technologies and extensive experience in Agile environments. This role involves implementing complex functionalities, leading project segments, troubleshooting technical challenges, and ensuring that development meets both design specifications and client requirements.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Serbia.

Responsibilities
- Implement necessary functionalities as outlined in design documents
- Oversee project segments, assisting in team management and ensuring adherence to deadlines
- Plan, synchronize and monitor team tasks and activities
- Identify, escalate and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Ensure compliance of final designs with original specifications and client requirements
- Enable the Scrum team to handle stakeholder demands efficiently and contribute to versioning the platform
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and partners

- 5+ years of active software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java SE and Java EE
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
- Background in Agile development practices
- Proficiency in algorithms, design patterns and using UML
- Broad knowledge of Spring, JMS, JPA and Maven
- Experience with unit testing and continuous build tools such as Jenkins or Hudson
- Familarity with AWS and other public cloud services
- Background in Big Data technologies
- Comprehensive understanding of coding methodologies, testing practices and application tools
- Capability to lead and support a development team
- Fluency in English with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
