We are seeking a Lead HPC Analyst with advanced technical proficiency in HPC infrastructure to oversee all essential operations and engineering tasks for the DaVinci HPC environment.
The incumbent is expected to collaborate closely with team members and business stakeholders to sustain, enhance, and optimize the stability and performance of the HPC Infrastructure while ensuring adherence to GxP compliance.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage a team of 3 HPC infrastructure engineers
- Prioritize, break down, and allocate technical tasks among the team
- Develop the HPC roadmap in partnership with the Novartis internal team and external third-party teams
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to uphold HPC infrastructure in line with GxP regulations
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of the HPC infrastructure as per GxP standards
- Engage in engineering and support activities

- Expertise in HPC technology with over 11 years of experience
- Skills in designing and setting up HPC systems
- Proficiency in Linux (any rpm-based) including kernel modules compilation and debugging tools (strace, core dump, tcpdump, etc.)
- Knowledge of job schedulers (IBM LSF, Slurm)
- Capability to manage Bright Cluster Manager including setup and configuration
- Familiarity with GPFS/Lustre filesystems
- Background in InfiniBand/OmniPath network interconnect
- Background in hardware: diagnostics, upgrades, tuning (HCA InfiniBand, disk arrays - Lustre, Vast, IBM, servers Dell+HP)
- Competency in infrastructure monitoring tools (Zabbix, Splunk, Grafana, etc.)
- Understanding of Easybuild
- Experience in a GxP-compliant environment
