We are looking for an experienced Lead Functional Tester to oversee our testing team and lead our QA efforts. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mobile and API testing, along with a strong background in creating and managing comprehensive test plans and reports. This position requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor the testing team in designing specific testing strategies for new features
- Develop and oversee comprehensive test plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Lead the prompt documentation and resolution of bug reports
- Enhance and enforce quality assurance protocols to identify and fix issues effectively
- Coordinate cross-functional teamwork to support and improve software development
- Keep the team informed of industry trends to continuously refine testing processes
- Foster strong communication within the development team to ensure consistent testing approaches
- Manage team performance, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations

- 5+ years of experience in testing
- Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 1 year of experience in a leadership role
- Proficiency in Android and iOS mobile application testing including the use of adb commands for deployment
- Background in utilizing mobile simulators for testing purposes
- Expertise in manual testing, covering functional, integration, and accessibility testing
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies
