Responsibilities
- Design and implement container strategies using Kubernetes and Anthos
- Manage and optimize the Docker image lifecycle for deployment
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code to automate provisioning
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
- Integrate and configure testing frameworks like Kuberhealthy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cloud infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain system performance and reliability
- Develop scripts and tools using Python to enhance automation
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
- Over 1 year of leadership experience in guiding technical projects
- Experience in Kubernetes with a focus on vanilla/Anthos, AKS, EKS, or GKE
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management
- Background in Docker for containerization
- Familiarity with networking concepts and configurations
- Understanding of Jenkins or GitLab for CI/CD practices
- Capability to write scripts in Python for automation
- Knowledge of Helm for Kubernetes package management
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
- Fluency in English for effective communication
- Certification in Kubernetes administration
- Experience with Go programming language
- Familiarity with security controls like Gatekeeper and SCPs
- Exposure to tier 3 support for complex issues
- Knowledge of additional cloud service providers
