We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our forward-thinking team.
As a Lead DevOps Engineer within our organization, you will be a key part of our internal business units, leading the implementation of the DevPortal (Backstage) / Operators Catalog offering portal. Your main responsibilities will include Terraform module development, platform support, team coordination, service catalog management, CI/CD automation, and showcasing your expertise in Kubernetes.
This position offers hybrid setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Latvia, whether it's your home or our office in Riga.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Terraform modules for managing Kubernetes and Cloud Native services for AWS, GCP or Azure
- Implement and support Terraform modules for EKS, GKE, and AKS to ensure optimal performance of native cloud services
- Collaborate with DevOps teams, review and manage merge requests, and document architectural concepts
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive catalog of Terraform modules using the Backstage framework
- Design and support GitLab CI/CD automation, pipelines, and ensure catalog compliance
- Use deep knowledge of Kubernetes for infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues related to cloud services

- Proficiency in AWS, GCP or Azure, ability to manage and deploy applications on these platforms
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, ability to deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters
- Expertise in GitLab CI for setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of other CI/CD tools
- Strong experience with Terraform, ability to create, maintain and deploy Terraform modules
- Proficiency in Docker for containerization, experience in handling containerized applications
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and logging/alerting systems
- Experience in database management for both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of best security practices in cloud environments and experience with secret management tools
