Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance platform performance and scalability
- Define and implement infrastructure strategies, focusing on automation, scalability, and efficiency
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure, primarily using AWS, to support complex applications and services
- Drive the adoption of best practices in Infrastructure as Code (IAC), CI/CD, and automation across the team
- Oversee the creation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, fast, and reliable deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to ensure infrastructure meets the needs of current and future projects
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and integrations to minimize downtime and ensure reliability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our DevOps approach
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team

- 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or lead role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Expertise in using Terraform for infrastructure automation and management
- Extensive experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles and best practices
- Solid experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead discussions and provide clear direction to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- B2+ English proficiency for effective communication with global teams
- Ability to work remotely while coordinating with teams across various time zones, particularly from 8 AM to 12 PM Central Time
- Experience working with machine learning (ML) infrastructure and platforms
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar DevOps tools for managing pipelines and processes
- Experience working with microservices architectures
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts and data platform management
