We are seeking a highly experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes to lead and optimize our DevOps initiatives. This role focuses on the enablement, maintenance, and handover of Kubernetes-based projects while ensuring service scalability, reliability, and security. As a leader, you will guide the S/4HANA Cloud team in developing automation scripts for continuous delivery across a large-scale infrastructure of over 25,000 servers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the enablement, maintenance, and optimization of Kubernetes clusters to ensure peak performance and scalability
  • Manage resource allocation and job scheduling to improve efficiency and maintain high availability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored DevOps solutions
  • Establish and maintain DevOps best practices, including container orchestration and security standards
  • Oversee the customization and maintenance of monitoring tools like Grafana

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including orchestration and cluster management
  • Deep understanding of container orchestration for ensuring service availability and scalability
  • Proven ability to create, customize, and maintain Grafana dashboards
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes security best practices, including tools like Kyverno
  • Experience with automation and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor team members
  • B2+ English level
