We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. As an expert with extensive knowledge of Anthos GKE, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes, you will play a crucial role in transforming systems to the cloud, optimizing costs, improving availability and reliability, and enabling further analytics. This role involves leading the team to demonstrate expertise in the Kubernetes field, with the potential for more projects to be transferred to the team. The successful candidate will work on a new stream, contributing to the transformation of systems to enable architectural improvements and improved time to market in a real-estate industry context.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the transformation of systems to the cloud, enabling cost optimization and improved availability and reliability
  • Demonstrate expertise in Anthos GKE and Google Cloud Platform to showcase Kubernetes field knowledge
  • Contribute to architectural improvements and improved time to market in a real-estate industry context
  • Collaborate with the team to understand and address project requirements
  • Lead the team in effectively managing the transformation process and demonstrating continuous improvement
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the onsite team and stakeholders
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the team
Requirements
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Extensive experience with Anthos GKE, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for scripting
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager
  • Knowledge of configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt Stack
  • Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, or Github Actions
  • Experience in managing pipelines, branches, and CI/CD workflows
  • B2+ English level proficiency
