Lead BI Analyst (Business and Data Analysis)

We are seeking a skilled Lead BI Analyst to join our team, focusing on reworking, improving, and maintaining existing systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Power BI, with additional skills in Amazon Web Services and Amazon Redshift being advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Generate new reports and ensure regular data refresh cycles
  • Migrate high-priority SAP reports, ensuring seamless transition and validation
  • Gather report requirements and migrate reports from SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to Power BI
  • Conduct demos with the client to showcase Power BI reports and gather feedback
  • Understand and categorize in-scope and out-of-scope requirements
  • Work closely with a Lead Business Analyst, AWS Engineers, and SAP Engineers
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data integration aligns with business needs
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to manage the data integration process

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence analysis with a strong focus on Microsoft Power BI
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Amazon Redshift and Amazon Web Services
  • Experience in establishing AWS connections for various data sources and migrating SAP reports
  • Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and report migration to Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and understand report requirements
  • Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and external vendors to ensure data integration aligns with business needs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working in a hybrid delivery approach with internal and external teams
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English with a strong proficiency in written and verbal communication
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and dashboard design principles
  • Experience in data modeling and ETL processes
  • Certification in Microsoft Power BI or AWS is a plus
  • Familiarity with other BI tools and platforms
  • Understanding of data governance and security best practices
