We are currently seeking a Lead Backend Developer skilled in Python, Snowflake SDK, and API development.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing durable backend services, ensuring smooth API integrations, and managing the construction of scalable systems. This position requires a proactive leader capable of directing architectural choices, providing guidance to team members, and working collaboratively across various departments.

Responsibilities
- Utilize Python to design and establish backend services that deliver high performance and reliability
- Refine, optimize, and oversee database clients utilizing the Snowflake SDK
- Develop a scalable backend abstraction layer to improve system extensibility and modularity
- Integrate API endpoints fluidly with Apigee and manage efficient data operations
- Implement logging aggregation and monitoring tools to ensure system observability
- Improve system efficiency through the optimization of API consumption and data handling
- Foster scalability, modularity, and maintainability in system architecture
- Execute regular tests and validation of backend logic related to Snowflake
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure backend development aligns with business objectives

- Minimum of 5 years in software development
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Python and Snowflake SDK
- Deep proficiency in API development with experience in designing and consuming RESTful services
- Background in modular architecture focused on scalable and maintainable solutions
- Familiarity with Apigee for efficient API integration and data management
- Solid understanding of logging, monitoring, and system observability best practices
- Ability to work independently, make critical architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers
