We are seeking a Junior Python Developer with experience in API Development and ETL/ELT to join a project for our Client, a leading specialty corporate insurer and reinsurer.
The Client will be implementing a new Pricing Platform, and the person in this position will be responsible for creating 3rd party integrations between the new Platform and the Client's already existing toolset.

Responsibilities

Design and develop databases
Conduct model calculations using Python
Manage version control and release schedules
Engage in the creation of documentation and provision of training
Optimize performance of applications
Gather and analyze user feedback
Implement continuous integration and deployment processes
Develop and scope integration with third-party systems through custom API creation

At least 1 year of commercial experience in Python
Proficiency in API development and microservices
Background in SQL, specifically MS SQL
Familiarity with data integration platforms, including ETL/ELT tools
Capability to comprehend VBA scripts and transition them to Python
Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

Experience with Azure Data Factory
Understanding of Snowflake database technology
