We are seeking a Junior Java Developer. The project involves a collaborative effort with six development teams based in Gdańsk, responsible for delivering a range of critical system components for a leading sports betting platform in Germany.
For this role we consider candidates residing in Kraków, Wrocław or Gdańsk, due to hybrid mode of work, with 3 days per week working from the office.

Responsibilities
- Perform developer role in an agile team and follow team's SDLC process
- Collaborate with Product Owner, Architect and the team to make requirements clear and ready to implement
- Drive features implementation in accordance to business functional and non-functional requirements, architecture guidelines and engX principals
- Take active part in code review process as a reviewer and reviewee
- Collaborate with Quality Engineer in testing of your implementation and re-work in case defects were found
- Identify risks and issues and share problems with your team or report to your TL
- Identify and suggest to the team improvements that can be made in the tech design/code, team processes or any aspect that relates to your teamwork and environment
- Share your knowledge with other team members and learn from others too

- Solid foundation of core Java knowledge (minimum 1-year experience)
- Experience with Spring/Spring Boot
- RESTful API client and server-side development experience
- Knowledge of everyday developer's engineering excellence practices (writing high-quality code, code review process, unit testing, CI/CD)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Desire to learn and grow with our team
- Willingness to work with modern microservice stack as well as legacy system
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS
