Junior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and curious Junior DevOps Engineer who is excited to take on responsibilities across both DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn from experienced senior engineers, work on real production systems, and develop hands-on skills with modern DevOps and SRE practices.
You will contribute to building and maintaining scalable infrastructure, reliable deployments, and robust monitoring systems - all while gaining a deep understanding of how to ensure uptime and performance through SLA, SLO, and SLI metrics, as well as incident response.

Responsibilities

• Learn by doing and gain knowledge in a team of highly experienced engineers
• Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Help manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform
• Monitor performance and reliability of production systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc
• Contribute to defining and tracking SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to ensure service health and availability
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and writing post-mortems
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and performance
• Write and maintain documentation for systems, tools, and procedures

• At least 6 months of working experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions
• Basic understanding of SLA/SLO/SLI metrics and their role in production systems
• Skills in basic scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell programming
• Understanding of version control tools like Git and automated task management
• Proficiency in working with Linux-based systems and basic system administration
• Capability to learn and adapt to new tools, workflows, and methodologies
• Showcase of problem-solving abilities and passion for collaborative teamwork
• Desire to deepen expertise in DevOps and SRE practices and tools

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Basic exposure to containerization tools like Docker or orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Background in system monitoring and observability solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar tools
