We are seeking a Junior Automation Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. As a Junior Automation Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive automated testing.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute automated test scripts to validate system functionality
  • Identify, record, and document software defects using a bug tracking system
  • Collaborate with the development team to improve testability and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Participate in test case reviews to ensure the quality of test scripts
  • Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Assist in the preparation of test data to support testing activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process
  • Adhere to testing best practices and standards
  • Report testing progress and issues to the project team

  • Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for test script development
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, at an Upper-Intermediate level for effective collaboration
