Responsibilities
- Design and prototype cloud solutions, create solution architecture document covering deep technical aspects of the implementation
- Analyze existing application portfolios, develop next-gen application architecture, transformation, and modernization roadmap
- Work closely with our clients to identify solution requirements
- Lead solution design and implementation reviews
- Mentor other EPAM engineers
- Accurately scope complex engagements and communicate scope and assumptions clearly
- Manage and write project proposals for prospective clients
- Support sales closure through potential client pre-sales involvement
- Partner with the Account Management team to meet with prospects throughout the sales lifecycle
- Design project teaming models using appropriate estimation tools
- Oversee the development efforts and provide technical help as needed
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices

- Avid technologist with deep expertise in modern cloud architecture and a history of successful implementation of complex Azure solutions
- Passion for client experience and for consulting as a vehicle to help clients achieve their goals
- Ability to craft and present materials for both executive and technical audiences
- Experience in client-facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture and design discussions with senior executives
- Large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in some of the following languages: C#, Java, Node.js, Python
- Designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies
- Deep expertise in solution architecture, including web services, relational and non-relational databases, front-end and/or back-end technologies
- Good exposure to Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration (CI), and automated deployment
- Experience working with highly scalable and mission-critical architectures
- Ability to suggest competitive and innovative technical decisions, get client buy-in, and deliver commitments
- Strong communication skills, ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities

This posting includes a base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate.
