Our large Financial Services client is launching a transformative project to modernise their position as the leading source of syndicated loan and private credit data.
As a Senior Data Architect, you will be part of a team involved in unifying the client's product data via a modern API, automating analytics to improve efficiency, leveraging AI-driven tools like large language models (LLMs) to enhance news coverage and market insights. The project also includes developing advanced loan mapping tools to boost accuracy and scalability, ensuring they remain the trusted leader in loan market intelligence.
The role requires some onsite weekly client presence near Liverpool St, London.
Due to the urgency of the project kick-off, we need people who are available with 1 month's notice or less.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical vision to success in resolving scalability issues with Microsoft Azure deployment
- Address integration challenges with Fintech platforms
- Engage in regular meetings with client management, technology consulting, delivery management and engineering teams to provide updates on project progress
- Utilise domain expertise in Financial Services/Capital Markets to enhance market insights and data accuracy
- Work under tight deadlines to meet project milestones and deliverables
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields or relevant work experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Data Solution Architecture with extensive experience in Azure, Databricks, Python development
- Experience with Microsoft Azure deployment and scalability issues
- Strong experience in REST API and integration
- Familiarity with integration challenges with Fintech platforms
- Domain expertise in, for example, Financial Services/Capital Markets
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-driven, goal-oriented with solid people leadership experience
- Ability to nurture talent, communicate effectively with client managers and wider multi-disciplinary teams
