Chief DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Chief DevOps Engineer.
In this role, you will help clients create workflows and code for high-performance computing environments. You will also have the chance to optimize code and collaborate with users to resolve any issues.

• Provide support to users in creating workflows and code for BR compute environments
• Offer guidance on scheduler policies and resource allocation
• Identify optimization areas in code to enhance runtime or reduce resource usage
• Engage with users to analyze flagged jobs and collaboratively develop solutions
• Classify common challenges and collaborate with data and computational science teams to establish best practices
• Support users in drug development workflows frequently found in biotech and pharmaceutical R&D settings
• Coordinate with globally distributed users and teams
• Communicate effectively with users across a range of technical proficiencies
• Maintain consistent engagement with the user base

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps
• 2+ years in a leadership role
• Knowledge of developing workflows and code for high-performance computing systems
• Expertise in Linux systems
• Proficiency in Python and R programming languages
• Background in CUDA programming, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of user requirements and constraints
• Competency to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
