We are seeking an Azure Solution Architect I to lead a high-stakes migration project from an on-premises datacenter to Azure, utilizing Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and other technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive migration strategy, ensuring seamless connectivity, exemplary security measures, and maintaining high system performance throughout the process.

Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the end-to-end migration strategy from on-premises to Azure, leveraging AVS and Azure Migrate tools
- Architect and implement connectivity solutions, including ExpressRoute, to integrate with a second data center and a secondary Azure region
- Design secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure patterns, integrating VMware environments, load balancers (F5), firewalls, storage solutions, and SQL databases in Azure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams - network, security, database, and operations - to ensure seamless integration, workload mobility (vMotion), and minimal downtime
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, compliance, and project timelines
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, propose innovative solutions, and adapt architectural designs as needed throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, offering clear updates, technical recommendations, and risk assessments to inform decision-making

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in solution architecture
- Extensive experience in designing and executing datacenter-to-cloud migrations, with a focus on Azure and AVS
- Proven expertise with VMware, ExpressRoute, vMotion, Azure Migrate, and related networking, security, and infrastructure components
- Strong understanding of multi-region architectures, including failover strategies and secondary region design
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to guide diverse technical teams and engage with non-technical stakeholders
- Fluency in English (B2+ level)
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) and VMware certifications
