Automation Tester in Java

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester proficient in Java to join our dynamic team.
The chosen candidate will focus on designing, developing, and executing automation scripts to enhance the quality and functionality of software applications. The role requires teamwork to uphold and upgrade our testing automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
• Implement automation for regression testing, functional testing, and smoke testing
• Organize and carry out automation tasks while adhering to testing standards
• Identify and fix system issues innovatively and resourcefully
• Employ automation testing for back-end services (REST APIs) and the front-end
• Record and report defects
• Handle test data and test environments
• Supervise test script versions

• Minimum 2 years experience in Quality Assurance, with expertise in test automation development or a blend of development and testing
• Proficiency in Selenium, REST testing and integrating the test suite with the CI/CD pipeline
• Competency in creating and maintaining automation scripts that fulfill acceptance criteria
• Background in agile methodology
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in manual testing

• Familiarity with other automation tools like Appium or Cucumber
• Background in performance testing
• Understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodology
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
