Automation Tester in Java

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester in Java to join our team!
Your role will involve building and enhancing our emerging automation framework, which is critical in shaping our automated testing approaches. This position demands a comprehensive insight into testing standards, automation testing, and problem-solving skills to significantly contribute to the automation of our system processes.

Responsibilities

• Function, integration, and acceptance test case creation
• Automation of test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing
• Task execution and management for automation, upholding testing standards
• Resourceful troubleshooting and resolving of system issues
• Testing automation for back-end services (REST APIs) and front-end
• Defect documentation and reporting
• Test data and test environment management
• Test script version maintenance

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, with a minimum of 2 years in test automation
• Proficiency in Jenkins, Git
• Strong background in REST testing using REST Assured
• Expertise in Selenium or similar automation tools
• Qualifications in devising and maintaining automation scripts meeting acceptance criteria
• Knowledge of agile methodology
• Understanding of integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Competency in manual testing
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills

• Exposure to Cucumber
• Background in Java programming
• Proficiency in Jira, SQL, qTest
