Automation Tester in Java

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester in Java to become part of our team!
As you support the building and refining of our emerging automation framework, you will be integral to shaping our automated testing approaches. This role demands a thorough comprehension of testing standards, automation testing, and problem-solving skills to effectively contribute to automating our system processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
• Implement automation for regression, functional, and smoke testing
• Conduct and oversee automation tasks, ensuring adherence to testing standards
• Innovate in troubleshooting and resolving system issues
• Automate testing for backend services (REST APIs) and the frontend
• Record and report defects
• Administer test data and test environments
• Manage versions of test scripts

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with at least 2+ years in test automation
• Proficiency in Jenkins, Git
• Strong background in REST testing using REST Assured
• Expertise in Selenium or similar automation tools
• Qualifications in creating and maintaining automation scripts meeting acceptance criteria
• Knowledge of agile methodology
• Understanding of integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Competency in manual testing
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills

• Background in Cucumber
• Proficiency in Java programming
• Familiarity with Jira, SQL, qTest
