Automation Tester in Java

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester skilled in Java to become part of our vibrant team.
The selected individual will be tasked with the design, development, and execution of automation scripts aimed at validating the quality and functionality of software applications. This role requires team collaboration to support and improve the testing automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
• Convert test cases into automated tests for regression, functional, and smoke testing
• Organize and carry out automation tasks, adhering to testing protocols
• Identify and address system issues through creative and efficient problem-solving
• Implement automation for both back-end services (REST APIs) and front-end systems
• Document and communicate defects
• Oversee test data and test environment handling
• Handle version management for test scripts

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance including proficiency in test automation development, or a mix of both development and testing roles
• Expertise in Selenium and REST testing and integration of test suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Skills in developing and maintaining automation scripts that fulfill acceptance criteria
• Understanding of agile methodology
• Sharp analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
• Good level of manual testing skills

• Awareness of other automation tools like Appium or Cucumber
• Qualifications in performance testing
• Insight into BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodology
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
