The chosen applicant will be tasked with designing, constructing, and implementing automation scripts aimed at validating the quality and functionality of software applications. This role entails teamwork to sustain and progress the testing automation framework.

Responsibilities
- Create functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Execute automation of test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing
- Undertake and manage automation tasks ensuring adherence to testing standards
- Identify and resolve system issues creatively and effectively
- Implement automated testing for back-end services (REST APIs) and the front-end
- Record and report defects
- Administer test data and test environments
- Oversee test script versions

- Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance with expertise in test automation development or a blend of development and testing activities
- Proficiency in Selenium, REST testing, and experience in integrating the test suite within the CI/CD pipeline
- Capable of creating and sustaining automation scripts that meet acceptance criteria
- Background in agile methodology
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Competence in manual testing at a satisfactory level
- Knowledge of additional automation tools like Appium or Cucumber
- Background in performance testing
- Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodology
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
