Automation Tester in Java

We are looking to add a seasoned Automation Tester with strong Java capabilities to our energetic team.
The chosen applicant will design, develop, and apply automation scripts to validate the quality and functionality of software applications. This role requires teamwork to uphold and advance our automation testing framework.

Responsibilities

• Design functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
• Develop test automation for regression testing, functional testing, and smoke testing
• Organize and implement automation tasks while achieving testing standards
• Identify and fix system issues innovatively and effectively
• Implement test automation for back-end services (REST APIs) and the front-end
• Record and report defects
• Oversee test data and test environments
• Govern test script versions

• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience in Quality Assurance with strong expertise in test automation development or a combined role in development and testing
• Proficiency in Selenium, REST testing, and experience integrating test suites with the CI/CD pipeline
• Capability to produce and update automation scripts that meet acceptance criteria
• Experience with agile methodology
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong manual testing competencies

• Knowledge of additional automation tools like Appium or Cucumber
• Background in performance testing
• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodology
• Experience using cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
