Automation Tester in Java

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester proficient in Java to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be tasked with designing, developing, and executing automation scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This role requires collaboration within a team setting to maintain and enhance the testing automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Design functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
• Develop automation for regression, functional, and smoke testing
• Plan and implement automation tasks, ensuring testing standards are met
• Creatively and efficiently troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Develop automated tests for back-end services (REST APIs) and the front-end
• Document and report defects
• Organize test data and test environments
• Handle test script versions

• 2+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance with expertise in test automation development or a mix of development and testing
• Expertise in Selenium, REST testing, and integrating the test suite with the CI/CD pipeline
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining automation scripts that meet acceptance criteria
• Background in agile methodology
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Competency in conducting manual testing comprehensively

• Capability to work with additional automation tools like Appium or Cucumber
• Background in performance testing
• Understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodology
• Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
