Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team and contribute to maintaining our production systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer care while troubleshooting application issues and ensuring smooth operations. Your expertise in application support tools and IT service management frameworks will be crucial in delivering reliable support. Collaboration with team members and effective communication with customers will be key to your success.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and maintain production systems
• Utilize Information Technology Infrastructure Library methodologies to ensure best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performing root cause analysis
• Engage with Azure Kubernetes Service, including daily interaction with cluster logs
• Assist in managing other Azure services as needed
• Conduct web troubleshooting, including REST protocols
• Maintain knowledge management practices to ensure information sharing
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive work environment
• Document technical processes and solutions for future reference

• At least 2 years of experience in application support or maintenance of production systems
• Proficiency in Information Technology Infrastructure Library and related IT service management frameworks
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and related Azure services
• Knowledge of web troubleshooting techniques related to REST and similar protocols
• Understanding of basic artificial intelligence concepts
• Strong communication skills with a minimum English proficiency of B2
• Capability to perform knowledge management tasks

• Familiarity with GitHub and GitLab for version control
• Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications
• Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing tools
