The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for our business applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for production stability and problem resolution of the Quant/Enterprise Technology systems during core business hours
- Be responsible for the readiness and effective operation of production environments, including running routine maintenance on file, data store and job control systems
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Investigate complex issues of production delivery, run the root cause analysis, establish a solution, and push it through required steps necessary
- Identify and manage risks, flagging major issues early and escalating incidents as required
- Drive results, productivity, quality, and value for the client, respecting their deadlines and objectives but also being an honest, realistic, and committed partner to them
- Deploy patches and full stack deployments into production
- Conduct regular DR testing whilst improving the process
- Play a proactive role in proposing technologies, tools & approaches
- Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences

- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in application support or related field
- Background in MS SQL
- Skills in basic PowerShell
- Proficiency in troubleshooting
- Qualifications in understanding business domain, especially in Finance
- Proactivity and strong communication skills
- Understanding of ITIL processes
- Familiarity with RESTful services, SQL databases and AMQP
- Capability to use CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Control-M, Grafana, Octopus, TeamCity
- Expertise in monitoring tools like Grafana, Victoria Metrics, Solar Winds, ElasticSearch
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic environments
- Hands-on experience of creating, improving, supporting technology systems and releasing technical solutions preferably in a Microsoft environment
- OOP language coding skills and principles understanding
- Good knowledge of PowerShell or C#
- Experience working in complex environments with multiple dependencies
