As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to be the world's best and most trusted mobility company, the Supply Chain Management team is excited to announce an opening for a Supply Chain Director supporting Marketing!
The Supply Chain Director is responsible for formulating and executing a world-class supply chain vision to maximize the Enterprise Mobility spend for various departments including, but not limited to, Marketing, Communications and Data Analytics in North America and the UK. This role will partner with senior management to identify, select and manage supplier/agency relationships to accomplish company initiatives in various departments such as research, creative, media, print, digital properties development, technology services and platforms, and data management. This position is also responsible for partnering with the Legal Department to ensure compliance with privacy regulations, contractual language, and licensing. This position will negotiate high level contracts and oversee the negotiation of all Marketing contracts. In addition, this position is responsible for possessing outstanding leadership attributes, developing excellent internal and external relationships, leading a team through supply chain transformation, and building & developing a team of procurement professionals. Supply Chain implemented Coupa (our Supply Chain platform) and we continually look to develop and build out its capabilities to support the business in the best way possible.

Responsibilities
- Establish strategic objectives to achieve long-term and short-term sourcing goals for all of Enterprise Mobility marketing spend
- Assist in providing guidance to the Marketing Team on various topics (even outside of Marketing procurement) that involve obtaining goods and services to support daily operations. Connecting business partners to the correct resources in Supply Chain or outside of Supply Chain (when needed)
- Meet with Marketing Leadership Team on a regular basis to ensure Supply Chain is providing the best support possible
- Manage and provide direction for our Marketing Team to ensure we leverage our Coupa platform to best support the business. Utilize Coupa to facilitate the process of creating requirements, purchasing, receiving, paying for, and accounting for goods and services from point of order right through to payment as allowed by Marketing's processes.
- Direct and champion the strategic direction of the organization on marketing procurement and articulate a clear, concise strategic vision that helps others understand its value and importance
- Consult with senior management regarding emerging trends, risks and opportunities for marketing procurement
- Lead privacy compliance within Marketing by working closely with the Data Privacy & Governance team, Legal , Information Security Office and Marketing members
- Provide strategic contractual language direction working with Legal to balance business requirements with company policies and regulatory compliance
- Establish and monitor programs to measure and report on supplier/agency performance, financial health and contractual compliance
- Direct and drive the success of complex sourcing and marketing projects requiring in-depth knowledge of the company's direction and objectives, review results to determine success of operations
- Regularly evaluate supplier base for streamlining opportunities and strategic alignment with company goals
- Lead and direct the development, modification, and execution of department practices and policies for advertising law compliance and sourcing practices
- Build and maintain expertise on trends in marketing procurement
- Institute and manage a framework for contracts, scopes of work, service level agreements, financial negotiations and privacy related compliance
- Foster and maintain outstanding internal and external relationships that promote understanding and produce results for all parties
- Build and lead a talent pool with the skills needed to achieve goals and to provide appropriate succession planning
- Operate in a highly autonomous fashion demonstrating exceptional, independent judgement and balancing strategic against tactical planning

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ten (10+) years of relevant experience in procurement required
- Five (3+) years of management experience required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Preferred:
- Marketing procurement experience
