DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Director to join our Cummins Drivetrain and Breaking Systems (CDBS) team located in Troy, MI .
The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for CDBS supply chain transformation. This role involves leading cross-business unit and functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals, driving end-to-end supply chain transformation processes, and building functional excellence. The position also oversees Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Supply Review and requires extensive experience in successful supply chain transformation, as well as expertise in planning, logistics, and purchasing, demonstrated expertise in leading global teams and managing substantial budgets.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Transform Supply Chain Strategy: Re-envision the strategy for end-to-end supply chain transformation, manage the change and lead the execution.
- Implement Strategic Initiatives: Develop and execute CDBS enterprise planning, materials, production, inventory, and logistics strategies.
- Develop Supply Chain Capability: Develop employee skills in training, performance, and career planning geared towards functional excellence. Intervene to address supply chain failures as necessary and ensure supply chains, intra-company and intercompany, meet all customer and business requirements.
- Financial Steward: Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense, resources, and capital along with demand planning.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Drive supply chain projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence using common processes and tools.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Partner with internal and external functional stakeholders to maintain strategic and critical supplier relationships.
- Mentor and Coach Talent: Lead and develop a global workforce towards supply chain functional excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- College, university, or equivalent degree required
- 7-10 years of experience required including 4-5 years global or regional leadership
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing Supply Chain Transformation end to end process across multiple plant locations
- Proven success with Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Demonstrated expertise in operating within a matrixed global environment and managing international teams
- Significant experience in supply chain end to end process O2C, P2B.
