Responsibilities

About the Team:

The Automated Rental Management System (ARMS) provides replacement rental management services and software solutions to insurance companies, dealerships, fleets, and collision repair centers. Our mission is simple: to bring all stakeholders in the collision repair industry together in a way that benefits everyone. Our web-based software solutions are designed to enhance performance management with complete transparency, concise measurements, and seamless data integration. We believe in the power of key performance indicators to drive improvement..  You will serve as the interface between the business stakeholders, project managers, and software engineers to implement new functionality and modifications to existing functionality.  In addition, you will participate in acceptance testing, identifying potential problems, and assist with researching opportunities to minimize complexity. 

Enterprise Mobility has invested heavily in the modernization of our ARMS user experience, which our insurance partners and body shops rely on to do business with Enterprise Mobility. Each year the ARMS system generates about $8 billion of revenue so it is critical to provide users with the best possible experience. This is an exciting time to be part of the ARMS team!

As an IT Business Analyst Senior in ARMS Operations, you will play a critical role in the application development lifecycle and production support for some of Enterprise Mobility's key replacement applications. You will be involved in production defect research including tracking volume, recreating issues, vetting through possible workarounds and defect lifecycle.  In this position, you will collaborate with key business stakeholders and technical partners throughout the company to evaluate defects to determine priority & impact, while researching and identifying options that best serve business needs.  You will present information to technology and product stakeholders, as well as track and respond to questions related to business standards.  You will collaborate with subject matter experts from across the EM organization and external vendors to provide solutions for our partners.  You will serve as the interface between the business stakeholders, and software engineers to implement new functionality and modifications to existing functionality.  In addition, you will participate in acceptance testing, identifying potential problems, and assist with researching opportunities to minimize complexity.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must reside in the United States (does not include Alaska or Hawaii)
  • Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • 3+ years of business analysis experience in an application development setting with exposure to various methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting functional business requirements and specifications, and use cases
  • 3+ years of experience helping to lead large-scale projects
  • Experience serving as the primary interface between the user and an IT team
  • Excellent communication skills; strong note-taking abilities to accurately capture key points during meetings and discussions, ensuring clear documentation and follow-up actions; comfortable preparing and delivering informal and formal presentations to own team, department, other IT teams, senior leadership, and business partners
  • Ability to judge between what is requested and what is feasible given the parameters of the technology and the project timeline
  • Proven track record of taking initiative and driving a plan effectively; accept responsibility/ownership for assigned tasks and projects
  • Ability to effectively manage time and multi-task
  • Displayed leadership and team centric skills; ability to work well with others
  • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to look beyond a situation for innovative solutions and ideas
  • Excellent at building and maintaining relationships across IT and business partners
  • Secure in independent judgment and autonomous decision making 
  • Flexible, with the ability to be adaptable to various work environments and surroundings
  • Experience assisting with the development of standards, processes, and procedures for the department; ability to provide continuous improvements for applications, processes, and teams

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Experience with Greenlight, ECARS, Launchpad, ARMS or Odyssey rental systems is preferred 
  • Experience in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence is preferred
  • Experience with using metric tools for reporting such as Splunk, Dynatrace
