This position will require the employee to live in St. Louis, MO or the immediate surrounding area and will be allowed to maintain a hybrid schedule. Team members who choose virtual / remote work should have an adequate space to serve as their home office, and must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Software Analyst on the Cloud Data Engineering - Revenue Management team, you will be responsible for evaluating business requests to determine feasibility, identifying options, and recommending solutions for software development or enhancements. You will assist with interpreting customer requirements into conceptual and logical design specifications. You will play a role in shaping product design by gathering, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting, and maintaining business and functional requirements across our data environment to support product development. This will also include using SQL queries to perform gap/risk analysis and functional testing to support our products. You will be responsible for demonstrating your leadership capabilities in meeting facilitation, collaborating, conflict resolution, and obtaining your team members' desired results. At times, you will provide support and troubleshoot the team's applications and products.
You will assist with developing interfaces and prototypes, recommending changes to meet requirements, and researching and documenting application/services issues. You will be in a position to provide instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.
In this role, you will be asked to research and present information in response to questions related to business standards. You may participate in testing, identifying potential problems and researching opportunities to minimize complexity. You will actively investigate, interpret, collaborate, understand and document the application/service functionality from the business perspective. It is imperative that you acknowledge and interpret the business goals, objectives, report improvements through system enhancements, process improvements and issue resolution.

Qualifications
Required:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must reside in St. Louis, MO or the immediate surrounding area
- Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
- The Lead Software Analyst position requires 4+ years of related experience
- 3+ years of SQL experience
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio
- Basic knowledge of JIRA/Confluence or another Project Tracking System
- Familiarity with regression testing, release testing, and/or troubleshooting system issues
- Experience complying with data security standards and working with enterprise-wide systems
- Experience leading projects from requirements gathering to effectively communicating with the business and IT team members
- Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to timelines
- Must have strong attention to detail and ability to document both system design information and processes
- Ability to identify root cause and conduct initial investigation into problems as they arise
- Must have proven experience in communicating and collaborating with all levels of management
- Ability to partner with software development team members to communicate a detailed understanding of requirements
- Ability to clearly define and create detailed documentation to describe complex business processes to the lowest level
- Ability to validate that new software release are production ready and provide documentation for IT to end users
- Consistently demonstrates personal ownership of tasks, projects and job performance

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Experience with Rental applications is preferred
- Experience working with Agile methodology or KANBAN is preferred
- Experience with SQL on Teradata, Oracle, and/or SQL server is preferred
- Experience with API requirements analysis and design is preferred
- Experience with or willingness to learn new cloud technologies is preferred
