Responsibilities

About the Team

Enterprise continuously strives to modernize our solutions to keep pace with the competitive market and the dynamic needs for data across the company's technology solutions and business functions. Our team is responsible for executing the technology portion of the Data Strategy IT pillar. This team will work closely with technology leaders, the Data & Analytics business team and industry partners to implement new solutions for data reporting and analytics, data governance and management, and data engineering. The Reporting Solutions Administration team within Data Engineering will be responsible for the implementation, administration, operational integrity, and performance of reporting platforms and solutions. This work is reflective of a significant technology inflection point as it reflects moving our data solutions from a back-office function primarily supporting reporting to one in which our data assets are the core representation of the state of our business. This is your opportunity to be a part of the team that provides a modern presentation layer for these solutions. 



Where can you make an impact?

As a Lead Software Analyst for the Reporting Solutions Administration team, you will serve as the primary interface between the business, product owners, software engineers and QA testers to implement new functionality and modifications within reporting platforms.  You will play a leading role in shaping product design by gathering, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting, and maintaining business and functional requirements across all our products to support their development.  You will present information and track and respond to business partner questions as they interact with our products and teams.  You will be responsible for demonstrating your leadership capabilities in meeting facilitation, collaborating, conflict resolution and obtaining your desired results from team members.



To be successful you will need to demonstrate strong skills in the areas of personal ownership and accountability, relationship management, team building, organization, prioritization, problem solving, change management and executive level written and oral communication.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must possess a minimum of 4 years professional experience working as a Software Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
  • Must have expertise in requirements gathering and functional specifications development
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies
  • Must have strong experience using data analytics and data modeling technologies such as SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), Power BI, or MS SharePoint
  • Must have the experience mentoring and coaching other team members within a technical environment
  • Experience using project tracking and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar technologies
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills including story writing
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to timelines
  • Must have the ability to analyze and interpret information in a large-scale data environment and make suggestions and recommendations for its use
  • Must have the ability to interact with and elicit information from all organizational levels
  • Must have the ability to partner effectively with both business and IT teams to facilitate and coordinate projects in a collaborative manor that fosters a strong team environment
  • Must have the ability to suggest and implement improvements to technical design and business procedures and create supporting documentation
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
