Overview

Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opening for an experienced Full-Time Building Maintenance Technician. The Building Maintenance Technician will work with our Property Development and Facilities Management team to improve the appearance and safety of our rental branches throughout Middle TN through regular repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and assisting with branch renovations. This position may require work in grounds-keeping, painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, telecommunications, data and phone wiring, signs and lighting, or other maintenance tasks as assigned. A company vehicle is supplied for transportation and storage of tools, equipment and materials. Travel is required throughout Middle TN.

This is a temporary position for 90 days with opportunity to transition to permanent employment

Available schedule: Monday-Friday (7:30am-4:30pm)

Pay: $24.04/hour

Each day will begin in Franklin, TN at our Regional Administrative Office 284 Mallory Station Lane Franklin TN.

Responsibilities

  • Timely completion of work orders generated by call-in requests or preventative maintenance scheduled
  • General maintenance and repair work including but not limited to:
    • Ceiling tile replacement
    • Minor drywall repair
    • Interior and exterior painting
    • Hardware repairs and installation such as door closers/knobs, fixtures, shelves, locks
    • Furniture repair
    • Alarm updates, TD Safe repairs, programming and installations
    • Landscaping, snow plowing
    • Preventative maintenance (changing filters, light bulbs, ballasts)
    • HVAC knowledge
    • Industrial vacuum repair/motor installation
    • Pressure washer troubleshooting and repair (hose, valve, fittings)
    • Carpet installation
    • New branch set up (terminals, phones)
    • Electrical repairs/lighting replacement
    • IT: Tele-data wiring, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Basic plumbing repair/knowledge
  • Basic MSDS knowledge and Health and Safety knowledge
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform requirements
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • 1+ years relevant experience preferred. Relevant experience defined as:
    • Trade experience: carpentry, drywall, electrical and/or plumbing
    • Hands on general building/facilities maintenance experience
    • Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
  • Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, climb a ladder up to 10 ft. and operate various power tools
  • Must currently live in or within 45 miles of Nashville, TN
  • Must be able to commit to the schedule of Monday-Friday (7:30am-4:30pm)

  • Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision
  • Focus on accuracy and efficiency with the ability to prioritize tasks while in the field
