Your New Role...

WBD is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our Flight Operations Department. Reporting directly to the Chief Pilot, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance of our fleet, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Ensure aircraft are airworthy, placing the safety of passengers and crew as priority
  • Comply with inspections, standards, methods, and procedures per all applicable CFRs and manufacturer recommendations
  • Complete proper inspection records, reports, and forms required by the CFRs or manufacturer recommendations
  • Inspect aircraft and approve maintenance actions, as applicable, to meet airworthiness standards
  • Ensure training compliance and currency
  • Participate in the Safety Management System
  • Manage all or assigned maintenance activities of company aircraft
  • Implement and manage all Flight Department maintenance policies and procedures
  • Establish maintenance safety policies and procedures for ground operations and evaluates effectiveness via the Safety Management System
  • Provide plans, schedules, and budgets for all or assigned aircraft maintenance
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies on maintenance topics
  • Coordinate with all non-company personnel or Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs) performing maintenance on company aircraft
  • Establish and maintain aircraft maintenance records required by FAA regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and company policy
  • Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins affecting Flight Department aircraft
  • Remove unsafe aircraft and aircraft that do not comply with the CFRs from service
  • Ensure calibration of test equipment
  • Ensure that products, parts, supplies, and consumables meet the specifications and requirements set forth by the manufacturer and that necessary amounts of these items are maintained
  • Monitor expiration dates for first aid kits, automatic external defibrillators, and other applicable survival / emergency equipment
  • Review and update emergency and survival equipment list on an annual basis and/or as equipment and contents change
  • Maintain a current technical library and distribute new information as appropriate
  • Plan and develop maintenance and inspection procedures for company aircraft based on manufacturer's recommended procedures
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft mechanical systems and components
  • Perform aircraft servicing
  • Perform structural repairs
  • Supervise outside maintenance
  • Coordinate, maintain, or repair hangar and ground support equipment
  • Provide coordination or repair of routine and non-routine facility maintenance
  • Transport parts and supplies
  • Restock department consumables to meet maintenance and office requirements
  • Assist with OSHA requirements
  • Assist in the operational support of aircraft and ramp activities
  • Position company aircraft via towing in the hangar or on the departing ramp
  • Support domestic and international flights, as required
  • Flexible work schedule is required to meet flight profile mission
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Assume any duties delegated by the Chief Pilot and/or Head of Flight Operations

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
  • Minimum of 10 years of aviation work experience
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
