Summary:
Plan, organize, direct, and control all functions of manufacturing areas to ensure that products meet customer requirements in terms of quality, volume, and cost within the established times safely and efficiently.
Drives the long-term strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations, including manufacturing, production control, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, inventory control, and potential material functions such as purchasing and shipping / receiving activities. Define goals, improve technologies, and solve problems together with manufacturing, quality control, engineering, and sales managers. Translates customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and cost-effective manufacturing of company products. Develops plans, budgets, policies, and procedures related to operations. Maintains safety and regulatory compliance related to the production facility. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Establish strategic plans and objectives. Participates in the development of program evaluation methods, techniques, and criteria. and individuals. Decisions have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, business unit, or enterprise objectives. Directs functional areas through department managers and/or employees in the professional field.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Ensures that the production plan is carried out to meet the requirements of internal customers in terms of quality, cost, and volume. Manages and monitors the continuous improvement initiatives implemented such as reduction in the variation of materials in production, and cost reduction of contracted services.
- Responsible for managing, optimizing, and controlling all resources assigned to the department such as labor, materials, processes, and equipment.
Qualifications.
- Advanced English (Reading and writing that allow fluent project presentations and/or participation in negotiation processes)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in production administration (Staff). Preferably in the high-volume maquiladora industry and the medical field.
- Professional Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanics, Electronics. Master's degree in administration (desirable). Green Belt (desirable).
- MS Office, MRP (oracle desirable) pc management.
- Project Management, Validations, Regulations for the Medical Industry (ISO13485), GMP's, Lean Manufacturing Tools, Cost Structure, Plastic Injection Molding, Extrusion, Welding, Stamping, Tooling Eng. CNC (desirable).
- Valid visa.
