Responsibilities:

  • Customer Strategy - Drive and own the creation of various customer life cycles by identifying the correct types of outreach and their frequencies. Partner with the strategy and operations team to experiment with new products and processes to help grow revenue, maximize returns, and set customers up for success.
  • Campaign Management – Own the end-to-end execution of automated direct marketing and email campaigns within our CRM. Drive lead conversion, enhance customer engagement, and support product launches through data-driven strategies. Use SQL to define target segments, develop multi-touch campaign strategies, and manage the creative development process to deliver high-impact marketing programs.
  • Reporting & Analytics – Report and monitor segment and campaign performance including audience, monthly trends, email metrics and conversion. Report on results and provide insights & recommendations.
  • Testing Programs – Develop robust A/B and multivariate testing programs to optimize portfolio performance (email, DM, SMS, etc.)
  • Best Practices – Maintain clean email marketing lists to minimize occurrences of unsubscribes, bounce rates and spam reports. Monitor deliverability, complaint rates, bounce rates and Sender Score rank to reduce risk of being blacklisted. Monitor trends on best practices and techniques to ensure market efficiency and identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Have strong analytical skills - you’re able to manipulate and analyze data in order to identify trends, segment a customer population through the use of queries, solve problems, and make informed recommendations. Experience developing queries is required (SQL preferred). Experience with Excel, Microstrategy, Tableau or other visualization tools preferred.
  • Have CRM and database management experience - You’re able to develop, automate and personalize communications via an established CRM platform. Oracle Responsys experience preferred.
  • Are a demonstrated self starter and problem solver - You’ll be successful in this role if you can think critically to improve processes and discover ways to increase campaign performance that will have a measurable impact on the business.
  • Can communicate, collaborate and influence - Proven skill in working across multiple and distinct functional organizations (e.g. Strategy & Operations, Analytics, creative teams, vendor partners etc.) in support of specific business priorities. 
  • Are creative and think outside the box - The only constant in our industry is change. You love to brainstorm, generate new ideas, and bring creative, innovative solutions to the challenges our customers face every day.   
  • Are intellectually curious and have a desire to learn
  • Have 5+ years of professional experience in a Marketing or Business function (i.e. Strategy, Planning, Operations).
  • Financial-services experience a plus

Compensation:

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $68,500 to $99,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus and restricted stock units. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
