About the role:

As a Learning and Development Department Manager, your primary responsibilities include leading Enova's call center training programs, overseeing a Team Lead and Learning Specialists, and developing and facilitating leadership training. Your duties may involve new hire training, creating employee training materials, prioritizing diverse work streams, analyzing and improving L&D performance, and developing and implementing L&D strategies. This role reports to the Senior Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive performance of the Learning and Development team
  • Develop and implement a learning strategy aligned with business and operational objectives, incorporating industry best practices in Learning and Development
  • Design and deliver leadership training to improve contact center coaching and leadership effectiveness, measured by key KPIs and Employee Opinion Surveys (EOS)
  • Collaborate closely with operational leaders, stakeholders, and business partners
  • Set and manage team KPIs, leveraging qualitative feedback and quantitative data analysis
  • Proactively lead team development through performance management, coaching, auditing, and ensuring adherence to Enova’s policies and processes
  • Guide the team through changes by applying change management best practices and developing department engagement initiatives, while coaching team members on engagement and recognition techniques
  • Support the team in creating training curriculum and learning resources, including user manuals, web pages, eLearning modules, job aids, and more

Requirements:

  • 7 or more years of experience in professional training and talent development, focusing on high-demand roles
  • 3 or more years of leadership experience in the Learning & Development/Training sector, driving team engagement to boost departmental performance
  • A proven history of successfully delivering leadership training programs
  • Experienced in both remote and in-person learning development environments
  • Skilled in using online and web-based learning tools, including Articulate and Google Suite
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail and excellent time and project management
  • Adept at building strong relationships and promoting a collaborative team culture
  • Demonstrated proficiency in individual coaching, career development planning, problem-solving, and implementing effective Training & Development strategies in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

  • Financial services industry experience
  • Experience with Instructional Design methods and applying adult learning principles 
  • A relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Associate Degree in Education, Design, Technical, Computer Science, Human Resources, Management
