Overview
Techvera is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator professional to join our team onsite at our Denton, TX office. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our IT teams and MSP clients, managing technology and executing complex projects. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support, managing IT infrastructure, and delivering project excellence.
What you’ll do
- Maintain and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Execute basic network administration tasks and swiftly resolve network-related issues.
- Collaborate with Senior Systems Administrators on case escalation and knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Serve as an escalation point for the Technician and Service Coordination team.
- Proactively monitor our schedule and incoming request queue, ensuring rapid response and resolution to all service requests.
- Skillfully manage ticket completion, consistently meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) based on ticket priority.
- Maintain clear, concise, and frequent communication of ticket statuses to stakeholders through various channels, including the ticketing system, phone, and chat.
- Expertly identify and escalate technical and scheduling challenges according to established policies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Proactively encourage customer surveys and consistently achieve and maintain a targeted Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) score of greater than 93.
- Thoroughly document work performed and time expended using appropriate systems and protocols.
- Be readily available to travel and provide onsite support as required by our service coordinator, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and technical expertise.
Who you are
- A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar Systems Administrator role or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly preferred, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional IT support.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of tools and processes, including but not limited to:
- Basic Endpoint management
- Basic Application Support
- Proficient Network Management
- Basic Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Basic Scripting
- Intermediate Server configuration and troubleshooting
- Basic VoIP troubleshooting
- Basic Security Evaluation
- Intermediate Microsoft 365/Google Administration
- Proficient Network & DNS Troubleshooting
- Intermediate Antivirus and Antispam Administration
- Advanced Windows and Mac OS
- Intermediate RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) Tool Administration
- Proficient Active Directory Administration
- Intermediate Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate seamlessly with team members.

Where?
We are headquartered in NYC, with an office in Denton, TX and remote locations across 24 states. Our largest markets outside of the Tri-State area and Dallas-Fort Worth area are San Diego, Denver, Raleigh. We embrace a hybrid culture and offer opportunities throughout the year for folks to get together in regional markets or at HQ. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones.
